Unchalli Falls.

Unchfalli falls is 30kms from Sirsi.
Ksrtc buses are available directly to Sirsi from Bangalore.

The nearest place to Unchalli falls one can go by govt bus from Sirsi is Heggarani.
Heggarani is 5 kms away from Unchalli falls view point.
Every 1 hour there are buses from Sirsi.

Or hire a private vehilcle to reach the Unchalli falls view point.





Get down in Heggarani if you go by Govt bus.
Then start walking towards Unchalli falls.
It may take 1-1½ hours to cover 5 kms. Enjoy the pleasant greenery & natural village atmosphere as you walk 5 kms.

As you near the Unchalli view point you are blessed to see the awesome beauty of Unchalli falls from View mantap.

Just beside to View Mantap, a walk path leads to the bottom of the falls.
The path is very hard & tough. Never attempt to carry heavy luggages. The jungle path would be roughly 3-4 kms.





There is no provision & place for night stay at the bottom of the falls, hence make no attempt to carry stuffs for night out at bottom.

Once you reached the river bed , now carefully walk on the river side to reach the falls as close as possible.
Dont be very adventurous,,,,,,,,,,, a small mistake can be very dangerous.

To reach the falls as near as possible carry rope along with you.

This is nearest one can get close to unchalli falls.

Deepavali (Diwali)2008

Happy Deepavali to all.

I think many would think Diwali is the right word, but Deepavali is the right word in south India.

Received lots of wishes through sms & was suprised to see,most of the sms was using Diwali rather than deepavali.

Well ,,,,,, no issues still wishes are wishes & no complaints.
But some where in the heart felt that word 'Deepavali' is fading away.

My usual childhood friends where missing around this time.
Luckily ,,,,,,,atleast one was available to burst cracker.

Went to deviprasad's home(our 13 years adda) to meet him.
And where discussing about bursting crackers.
He said, he has not purchased crackers this year.
But surprisinlgy came up with crackers which was purchased couple of years ago.

We started with "Bijili" pataaki.It was fun to burst after long time.

Later friend's brother joined us & with his friends.
In the process we just came up with a plan.

We just saw couple of girls where passing by.
We decided that we shld just looking in to the ground as if there where crackers,
& really it worked out.Those girls stood there & waited for sometime.
After a while they just looked at us & we said you can go there are no crackers.
They give a mischievous smile & went away.

We just placed a dummy Laksmi paataaki on ground.The same play continued for sometime & couple of ladies where just passing by ,
we played the same trick & it worked out.
As they are from same locality we confessed to them that there are no crackers,
they smiled & went away.

These ladies returned again & this time we shouted saying there are crackers,
Again they stood & where looking out for crackers, again comes our confession.
But one of the lady said , 'Hey u guys did the same thing when we passing by'.
And we said "you are right ,,,,,, we are also waiting for the cracker to burst from last one hour.But is not going off"..............................



Some moment to cheer on this Deepavali.

Hope next deepavali will be special.
Expecting lot of changes in personal & professional life by next deepavali.

As I cross the street you used to reside, all the girls with curly hair seems like you.
I just look in to your old house hoping someday you’ll come out of the house.

My eyes are eagerly waiting to see you.

It has been long time since my heart starting beating faster.
I’m afraid it may stop beating thinking about you.

The only option I could see you is in my dreams.
I’m afraid to open my eyes & let you go out of my dreams.

I wait in this very own bus stop, hoping to see you getting down from bus.
But my hopes are fading away.
My dreams are shading away.

I’m afraid that I may lose you out of my dream too.

Wish I could go back in time.
Wish I could be your neighbor again.

My school days

Was returning from school .
I just got down from the bus & started walking towards home.

A man was just going in front of me at a distance.
While he was trying to take out things from his pocket ,I just saw few papers flew from him & fell on ground .He did not notice that & kept walking.
As i neared those papers, i noticed it was not just papers instead 3-4 ten rupees notes.

I picked all the notes & was about to call loud the gentlemen ahead, but just a thought came to my mind, should i return all the money or some of them.

I kept on thinking , whether should i return ,3 , 2 , or all 4.
I kept walking behind him & towards my house.

I kept on thinking, by the time i could decide, i neared the cross of my house.

Somehow some negative thoughts made me to cut the cross without calling him.

I reached home in a confusion, but it was too late to decide.

And to be optimistic the 40 rs was mine.

That was a onetime mistake,

But ok,,,,,,,,, It was in my school time ,

(Had lot of chocolates from that money)

My germany trip

Oh yes,
landed in munich,germany on 12th of june.
This is my first trip to germany.
Was a pretty long flight journey of 8+ hrs.
Felt really good to sit in a international flight & see those white co passengers ,
& those pretty airhostess.

From munich came to Augsburg by train.
The rail network is really well organised here.

Everything here seems amazing to me here.
To come from India & see the facility,quality of life here really amazes me.

The express highways, Trains, Local Tram & bus facilities ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,great.
wat else a citizen can ask for.

I hardly see people using cell phones here.
Rarely i hear the car horns.

Underground electricity, underground gas connections are great boon for citizens here.

The weather is good here , its summer now.

feels good to be here, but yes missing my home town.

Eagerly waiting to go back to bangalore & meet my family & friends.

waiting to count the two & months left.
